Who said that learning has to be boring? Calculating numbers and weight, portions and analogies, following instructions and waiting for nature to take its course…..In the Safe Zone of Malakasa reception center, where unaccompanied minors are hosted, learning can be fun.
After a short introduction to healthy food habits and tips on how to choose fresh ingredients, we introduced our children to the “secrets” of decoding and executing a recipe. They learned the benefits of working together, as they added the ingredients for the dough in turns and then waited till the yeast did the job.
Finally, they added their favorite ingredients and soon PIZZA was served.
Pizza is good, but it tastes better when you make it yourself and enjoy it in good company!
