May day is a breath away. And since we stay at home and can't pick real flowers, we create, filling our everyday lives with color and smiles.
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day on 21/2, in Zeuxis Day Center we ran a series of workshops where children shared information about their countries of origin with their classmates. Hence they 'traveled' to Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Somalia, Congo, Yemen, and learned a little about each country's culture and language.
Yesterday was the holiday of Clean Monday. Zeuxis tries to make everyday lives of unaccompanied minor refugees living in the Safe Area of Leros' Reception and Identification Center better.
